The Creative Table

A space to create, connect & belong.

Every Thursday morning, we open the doors to our studio and invite you to pull up a chair, pour yourself a cuppa and spend a few hours doing something creative.

Bring your sketchbook, knitting, crochet, paints or whatever project you're working on. Or come and get your hands in some clay!

Whether you're an experienced artist, a complete beginner or someone who simply wants to be surrounded by creative people, there's a place for you at our table.

There are no guided lessons, no expectations and absolutely no pressure to create something perfect. Just good company, shared inspiration and time to create at your own pace.

Choose your session:

$15 — Bring Your Own
Bring your own materials, tools and creative projects and enjoy three hours in our shared studio space.

$30 — Clay & Tools Included
Use our studio clay and shared handbuilding tools to create your own pottery pieces. Includes up to 1kg of clay per visit. Glazing and kiln firing are available at an additional cost.

Tea, coffee and a welcoming creative space are included.

Come once or make it your weekly thing.

There's a seat with your name on it.

Studio Clay & Tools — $30
Includes up to 1kg of clay and access to our shared handbuilding tools and equipment.

Additional clay, glazing and kiln firing are available at an extra cost.
Good to Know
  • When: Every Thursday, 9:30am–12:30pm.
  • Who: Everyone is welcome! Whether you're a seasoned creative or just getting started, there's a place for you.
  • No experience necessary: Come as you are and create at your own pace.
  • Not a guided workshop: The Creative Table is a shared, self-directed studio session. We're always happy to share a tip or answer a question, but structured tuition isn't included.
  • All crafts welcome: Pottery, painting, knitting, crochet, drawing and more! Please ensure your chosen activity is suitable for a shared space.
  • Works in progress: You're welcome to continue projects over multiple visits. Studio storage is available by arrangement, subject to space.
  • Children: Our regular sessions are designed for adults. Please contact us before bringing children or babies so we can discuss what's safe and suitable.
  • Studio safety: Outside clay must be approved before kiln firing. Please help us keep our creative space clean, safe and welcoming for everyone.
  • Bookings: Book whichever Thursdays suit you. There's no ongoing commitment!
